As Bessler published Das Triumphans with a double portrait in at least two copies of the book, I have included a copy of the text which is under the second portrait, because the alterations in each copy are identical and are therefore one might assume that they were included deliberately. What the text means and why it was altered must have been of some importance to Bessler but what for, I have no idea. I merely include this for curiosity’s sake and in the hope that someone may come up with solution.
